AXE THROWING LEAGUE
League Summary
Route 7 Karting & Entertainment Axe Throwing League will be held every Wednesday night for a period of six (6) weeks. The first five weeks will be played as a regular season competition which will consist of two “best two games out of three” matches per night, per team. Week number six will be the playoff week and will consist of a “best two games out of three” single-elimination bracket style format in which each team’s ranking after five weeks will determine their competitor in the first playoff match.
League Summary
- The league cost is $125 plus tax per two-person team for all six weeks.
- Check-in will begin each night at 6:15 PM.
- Practice session will begin at 6:30 PM for a period of 30 minutes. Players are not required to practice.
- League competition will commence at 7:00 PM.
- Each team will consist of two players.
- A game will consist of 10 throws per player.
- Teams will compete against one team at a time and will compete in a “best two games out of three” match.
- The winner of each game will be determined by the team with the highest total combined score of both players.
- First Match: The first set of matches each night will be determined by “blind draw”.
- Second Match: After the first set of matches, the winning team from each even numbered lane will join the winning team from the lane to their left. Likewise, the losing team from each odd numbered lane will join the losing team from the lane to their right.
- One (1) point will be awarded to the winning team of each game.
- One (1) point will be awarded to the team with the highest single game score in each match.
- Each player from the championship team will receive a Family Four Pack consisting of One (1) Go Kart Race and a 2-Hour Unlimited Deluxe Attraction Pass for up to four guests to be used at any time.
